singer and guitarist wanted for blues and soul band
Huddersfield and West Yorkshire : we are looking for a guitarist/ singer or a guitarist AND a singer. We have drums, bass and keys/ harmonica, slide etc. We are experienced at all levels and for some members that is up to and including blues festivals like Colne and Maryport . The band is into playing soul classics, traditional authentic Black American blues, with some occasional blues- rock , reggae etc as agreed. We aim to play occasionally as in every 2-4 weeks , mainly in rooms that put this type of music on. To be clear, we are not a rock band or a pop covers band at all .
If soul, blues and some light jazzy American songbook music appeals to you then we may well be what you are looking for.
