Drummer Looking to Start an Alt/Indie Rock Band

Hey,

I'm a drummer based in Gateshead looking to start a new band. My influences range from alternative and indie rock bands like Dinosaur Jr, The Pixies, Sonic Youth, to some of the lesser-known bands I've been checking out lately like Feeble Little Horse (indie noise rock) and Webb Chapel (shoegaze).

I'm looking for guitarists, bassists, vocalists and others in a similar age range to create music in the alternative rock, indie rock, shoegaze, noise rock, post-punk styles. I'm 28 years old and looking for people around the same age range.

I want this to be a DIY project where we find our own sound, not following trends or aiming for mainstream success. I've never been interested in being the next Sam Fender or Arctic Monkeys!

We can rehearse and record for free on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the place I work. I'm looking to jam, write original music, record, release it and play some gigs.
