Novice Guitarist seeks band to practice, jam & maybe gig
Hi, I?m in late 50s, have played with a group of friends over several years with a couple family gigs done but we struggle to get together now, so I?m looking to set up something else to keep me guitar itch scratched.
Would class myself as intermediate level, do a bit of lead and rhythm but would say am lacking in theory understanding and natural music ability, but with practice can generally get through plenty songs at a passable standard I think, and happy to learn others in the rock & blues genre, 60s onwards.
Got own gear and transport and have practiced previously at Abbey Lane Studios in Derby.
So if you?re looking for a guitarist and not too serious about where it goes and just wish to jam or cover songs possibly getting better and able to do the odd gig, then I might be able to chip in.
