Metal guitarist looking for band
24 year old guitarist looking for metal band.
Ive been playing guitar for 11 years now and I'm looking for a band. In the past I've started a couple but never found enough dedicated members to pull it along. Currently in the process of writing for my current band but I'm the only member so more than happy to bring the songs with me if I find something new.
I'd say my play style is very 2010. Wether it's bands like suicide silence and whitechapel. Or more metalcore like asking alexandria and capture the crown.
I have the facilities to record my parts at home if needed, I also drive and am more than happy to fund what's needed. I'm looking for some people that know what they want. This is something I want to do full time in future so people in that same mindset. Even if that means eating super noodles in the back of a transit van on the way to the next show lol.
If you're already established then that's even better I will learn whatever you send my way. Not super great with solos I'm much more of a riff/breakdown kind of guy. But if you're looking for someone that's dedicated, understands the financial burden and has the time to do it then please hit me up. I do have a full time job. But im done at 5pm and dont work weekends so for the time being I'm working around that. I understand that while starting out people still have lives and jobs to go to but all that needs is a clear line of communication which is often lost these days.
I will be honest, the only thing I don't have is an amp due to a house fire a few years ago but since then I've never needed one (obviously if we start doing shows and stuff I'll buy one) I own a 7 string and a 6 string so I can easily fit into whatever necessary.
