guitarist seeks band to collaborate

Hi - I am a guitarist/bass player looking for musicians to create with a view to playing live. Skill level, instrument, age, sex/gender etc not important (diversity is good). Must be open to working collaboratively to create something new that doesn't require complex song structures.

I was in bands in Liverpool and York in 80s (Chinese Religion, Fabulous Salamander). Claim to fame is sharing a bill with Dead or Alive, Flock of Seagulls, John Cooper Clark.

I would say my influences are Joy Division/New Order, Chic, Talking Heads, Sugar Cubes, PIL, Gang of Four, Au Pairs
